You should never let anything come between your car and a good battery connection. If you want the day to come to a grinding halt in a hurry, driving with corroded battery posts is the way to do it. It takes only a millimeter of crunchy white residue to keep your car from starting.
Your car’s battery is the starting point (no pun intended) for every system it uses. This is because it’s used to start the car! The conditions surrounding your battery posts create the perfect breeding ground for nasty corrosion, which will appear as white, crusty residue around the battery posts. As the corrosion builds up, it becomes harder for your car to connect strongly with the battery. That’s why we need to get rid of it.

The modern car engine produces a lot of heat. Keeping your coolant system up to snuff is the key to not letting heat build up and destroy your engine. This is so important that you should be checking your coolant system as often as you do the oil. Of course, trying to avoid burning yourself is important as well.

Nothing corrects that like checking out the coolant system on my car. No matter how many times I’ve done it in the past, I just can’t seem to remember to take precautions to avoid burning myself. My fingers have looked like burned tortillas on a few occasions and, while humorous to a degree, it hurts!

In that split second could you hold the front end in your lane? How about if you were talking on the cell phone or eating a burger?

The new Chevy Trailblazer may not be a supercar – but for an SUV it makes one heck of a coolcar in our books. Chevy has done a great job of creating a stylish looking SUV that is full of power and luxury. So when you are out on the open and bumpy gravel roads for the annualfamily camping trip you can do it in style and comfort. You may still be bumping all over the place – but at least the seats are comfortable.
Chevy offers the Trailblazer in three separate trim levels, the LS, LT, and SS. Our favorite model was the SS – which has all of the important features plus some added bonuses including, a larger version of the V8 engine, 20” wheels, and a sporty chassis.
